Terms of use
Effective 2026-10-14.
By using Stud Ticker you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The site
Stud Ticker helps LEGO® collectors browse sets, track their collections and follow market values and news. It's provided as is: we work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be either.
Prices and values are information, not advice
Prices, market values, retirement dates and other data come from third parties and can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. They're for information only and are not financial or investment advice. Check before you buy or sell.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older to create an account. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break in, overload it, scrape it in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
- What you add (your inventories, receipts, saved searches) stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run the site for you. See the Privacy policy.
The Community
The Community is for talking LEGO with other members. What you post there (topics, replies, pictures, reactions) can be read by other members and, in categories open to guests, by anyone. You keep the rights to your posts, and you let us show them on the site. House rules:
- Be kind. No harassment, hate, threats or personal attacks.
- Stay on LEGO and collecting. Buying and selling between members goes through the Marketplace, not posts or chats, and never with offers to pay or talk outside the site. Deals & store finds is for deals at stores.
- No personal details, yours or anyone else's (addresses, phone numbers, account details).
- No spam, scams or misleading posts, and only pictures you have the right to share.
Chats are private conversations between members, one-to-one or in groups. Only the people in a chat can read it; messages aren't checked, and the team sees a chat message only if someone in the chat reports it (with a few messages around it). The house rules apply to chats too. You choose who can send you chat requests, and you can block anyone; limits on chat requests and messages are shown on the Chats page.
Members can report posts, chat messages and members. The team may hide posts that break these rules (with the replies to them), lock or move topics, delete chat messages, turn off a member's chats, and mute members (they can still read, but not post) or suspend accounts.
The Marketplace
The Marketplace lets members in the United States sell and buy LEGO® items with each other.
- Stud Ticker is only the platform. We're not the buyer or the seller and not a party to any sale, and we don't own, inspect, store or ship any item. Each sale is an agreement between the buyer and the seller.
- Payments go directly from the buyer to the seller. The money never passes through Stud Ticker, so we can't refund, hold or recover it. For shipped orders, use a payment method that lets you dispute a payment; cash is only for local pickup.
- An order is a promise. Placing an order is a promise to buy and pay; accepting one is a promise to sell and deliver as described. Sell only genuine LEGO items you own, described honestly, with your own photos. Keep the sale, its payment and your conversation on Stud Ticker.
- Contact details (emails, phone numbers, social media) aren't shared in Marketplace messages. Messages that seem to include them, or to arrange a deal outside the site, may be held until the team reviews them. Once a local pickup is confirmed, the buyer and the seller may share a phone number to meet up.
- Local pickup: meet in a public place, at the place and time you agreed on the site. You meet at your own risk; check the item before you pay in cash. Either side can report a no-show and the other side can answer; a false report breaks these terms.
- Reviews must be honest and about the order. The team may remove reviews that break these terms or turn out to be wrong (for example a no-show when both of you were there).
- Seller fees: sellers may be charged a fee on their orders. If so, the rate is shown before you list, and a change applies only to orders placed after it.
- Taxes: sellers are responsible for their own taxes, including any sales tax they collect, and buyers for any use tax they may owe. Stud Ticker can work out a sales tax rate for an order, but doesn't collect, file or report taxes for anyone.
- The team may remove listings, hold or reject messages, cancel orders, and limit or suspend buying or selling for members who break these terms.
- To the extent the law allows, Stud Ticker isn't liable for items, payments, shipping, meetups or anything else between buyers and sellers, including items that are lost, damaged, not as described or never sent.
Other people's content
- News lists stories from other websites with their headline, a short excerpt, a picture and a link; the stories belong to their publishers, who are credited on each one.
- Videos play through YouTube API Services, in YouTube's own player. By using Stud Ticker, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Catalog data comes from Rebrickable and other sources; set pictures and names belong to their owners.
- If you believe something here infringes your rights, tell us at [email protected] and we'll remove it promptly.
